Santa Challenge

In December, Alister Barclay from a local charity called Sustrans, came into school to launch the Santa challenge.

The challenge was to walk, bike or scooter enough miles between us, to get to Lapland which is 2000 miles away. Every time the children walked, went on their bike or scooter to or from school, they got to colour a bike on their Santa challenge card.

Well done to all the children who took part in the challenge and returned their challenge cards.

We are very excited that Potton Lower School managed to travel 3284 miles and came second out of all the schools in our area! A special well done to Penguins class who travelled 525 miles between them and won the prize for the best class. They will take part in a chocolate smoothie making session on bikes!

Well done also to Billy Albone, Emily Rose and Oscar Mantle who won a goody bag.
