We are so proud of our School Council who have organised a very successful MUFTI day at Potton Middle School to raise awareness and funds for the The National Autistic Society.
For those who would like to know more about the cause. “Around 700,000 people in the UK are on the autism spectrum. Together with their families, this means autism is a part of daily life for 2.8 million people. Find out about diagnosing autism (including Asperger syndrome), and the impact on people and their families, and find advice and support on all aspects of life with autism.” – The National Autistic Society.
The councillors sent a letter home inviting all of the children and staff at school to come dressed in bright colours and to make a £1.00 donation – they have managed to raise a fantastic £240.00!!
Thank you everyone for your support.
